  • The fact that Amnesty International criticises the alleged "unlawful" killing of Osama bin Laden by US special forces only goes to show that Amnesty is just another Orwellian style "controlled opposition". It is a well known fact that Bin Laden died of kidney failure in 2002 while staying in the US military hospital in Doha. Billionaire's son and would be James Bond Bin Laden was not only part of the "ruling elite" in Saudi Arabia, but also a life time member of the CIA, working as a "destablisation speciliast", an euphemism for state-sponsored terrorist, state-sponsored as in financed and controlled by the Anglo-Judean "Axis of Greed".

  • I'm really amused by the latest BBC poll that puts the Zionist shithole squarely in the 'rogue' state league. I'm amused because of the massive effort the Jew media all over the world are putting in day in day out to portray IsraHell in the most positive manner possible, while doing their utmost to vilify its regional opponent, Iran. And yet, the latter doesn't fare any worse than the Jewish hobby farm. You would think that under such unequal conditions, Iran would have a much worse reputation in comparison.

  • Rebel of Oz created a new topic New blog section on Rebel News in the forum.
I've added a new blog section on Rebel News to post articles of our 'original contributors', in other words, those authors who directly send in their articles for 'original' publishing on Rebel News, as opposed to those articles we republish without being asked, as some kind of 'readers digest' of the dissident movement. Not all contributors have been added as yet, but that's no reflection on how I value their contributions. I'll add them as I get a chance to do so.

  • Everything worth doing is worth doing badly - including getting the truth to you. The effort seems futile -- but I know it is not impossible even at this late date.

  • Going by the silence on our forum and community section, Rebel News must be the dissident scene's best kept secret. Seriously, I'm wondering who the thousands of visitors are that visit this site every day and why none of them is saying anything. The whole point of the forum and community section is to make this site a place where dissidents can freely exchange their thoughts and ideas. What's going on?

  • Rebel of Oz created a new topic Update on new Rebel site in the forum.
On 1 March, my efforts as an Internet activist were rewarded with a complete wipe-out of my websites and main development machine, shortly followed by the destruction of my replacement computer. 5,000 user records as well as 15,000 articles, videos and books were destroyed in the process, without additional backup.

After days of deliberation, I decided to make the most out of this opportunity and rebuild my sites from scratch, using the latest content management and magazine software.

Two months later, large portions of the customisations have been rewritten and most of the teething problems resolved. I'm now in the process of ramping up the number of sources and articles published on Rebel News each day and have resumed work on the Rebel Institute for New World Order Studies, which - at least for now - has been integrated in the Rebel News site. This gigantic and costly effort wouldn't have been possible without the continued generous financial support of a small but loyal group of readers. A big thank you to all of you.

  • We're almost there. Most of the old Rebel News and Ziopedia editorials have been re-entered, the site is stabilising, and most of the technical problems that come with a new site have been ironed out. Next week, I can start publishing again the dozens of submissions that come in every day via email.

  • I've started work on the Rebel News part of the Rebel site (therebel.org/news). There is still a lot of configuration work to do though and I still need to do a lot of programming to make the process of uploading articles more efficient. Otherwise it would be impossible to post those hundreds of new news and commentary articles each day from over 100 sources.
