Mike Adams

Scientists from the Tel Aviv, Israel-based company Nucleix have demonstrated that it is possible to create fake DNA samples and plant them as evidence at a crime scene, in a paper published in the journal Forensic Science: International Genetics.

"You can just engineer a crime scene," said lead researcher and Nucleix co-founder Dan Frumkin. "Any biology undergraduate could perform this."

‘Climategate’ scandal scientists broke the law by hiding data from global warming sceptics

E-mail Print PDF

Scientist at the heart of the 'Climategate' email scandal broke the law when they refused to give raw data to the public, the privacy watchdog has ruled.

The Information Commissioner's office said University of East Anglia researchers breached the Freedom of Information Act when handling requests from climate change sceptics.

But the scientists will escape prosecution because the offences took place more than six months ago.

The Malicious Smearing of a Psychological Pioneer

E-mail Print PDF

During his twilight years of retirement, Raymond Bernard Cattell had achieved what few social scientists could ever dream of attaining. The American Psychological Association (APA) nominated the highly respected psychologist, author, and co-author of 500 research papers and 56 books, to receive the Gold Medal Lifetime Achievement Award - the pinnacle of top honors in the profession - during the APA's annual convention in August 1997. In nominating Cattell to receive this prestigious award, the APA summarized his legacy in the APA's flagship journal The American Psychologist:

EPA's 'endangerment finding' allows Big Government to regulate carbon emissions

E-mail Print PDF
mike adamsCarbon dioxide is a threat to human life, says the EPA under the direction of the Obama Administration. With this declaration, the agency has bypassed Congress and can now begin to regulate CO2 as a toxic substance.

The timing of this declaration was obviously planned to coincide with the Copenhagen climate summit: With the EPA now operating with some fangs, Obama can wheel and deal in Denmark with the credibility of some political weight behind his words. But is the sudden declaration warranted? Is it backed by real science?

Obama to Use EPA to Declare CO2 a Dangerous Pollutant

E-mail Print PDF
copenhagen
Obama will trek to Copenhagen on December 18 and attempt to convince the one-worlders and their cult of green that he is serious about the climate change agenda.

Obama and crew will not wait for the outcome of Copenhagen or the passage of the Waxman-Markey climate bill, predicted for 2010 at the earliest. Obama will declare carbon dioxide a dangerous pollutant this week.

The Environmental Protection Agency has declared carbon dioxide dangerous and this will probably result in the government requiring businesses that emit carbon dioxide and five other “greenhouse gases” to make costly changes in machinery to reduce emissions. Congress need not be consulted and no law need be enacted.

An EPA “endangerment finding” would allow the federal agency to use the federal Clean Air Act to regulate carbon-dioxide emissions

Al Gore’s Crumbling Credibility Cracked By Climategate

E-mail Print PDF

It has not been a good month for Al Gore. If I wanted to enter an understatement of the year contest I’m pretty sure that one would win.

Citing “unforeseen circumstances”, Gore has been forced to cancel an event in Copenhagen that he was due to speak at ahead of the climate change talks next week.

Ticket holders who had paid up to $1200 each for the event, ironically titled “Climate Conclusion”, will be forced to seek refunds.

Climategate: it’s all unravelling now

E-mail Print PDF

Australia’s Senate rejects Emissions Trading Scheme for a second time. Or: so turkeys don’t vote Christmas. Expect to see a lot more of this: politicians starting to become aware their party’s position on AGW is completely out of kilter with the public mood and economic reality. Kevin Rudd’s Emissions Trading Scheme – what Andrew Bolt calls “a $114 billion green tax on everything” – would have wreaked havoc on the coal-dependent Australian economy. That’s why several opposition Liberal frontbenchers resigned rather than vote with the Government on ETS; why Liberal leader Malcolm Turnbull lost his job; and why the Senate voted down the ETS.
